About the role

The Project Manager plays a vital role in our Digital Transformation team within the Corporate Services Directorate. This position is responsible for leading and managing project teams to successfully deliver Information & Technology (I&T) projects that align with our organisational goals. The Project Manager will oversee the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to quality standards and effective risk management.

This role requires a focus on quality customer service and creating value for the community. You will coordinate project activities, manage stakeholder relationships, and implement best practises in project management methodologies.

Who We Are Looking For

We seek an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in delivering large and complex IT projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a multi-disciplinary team.

  • Degree in Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects using PRINCE2 or Agile methodologies.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to organisational values and possess the ability to navigate complex project environments effectively. You should be adept at managing change and engaging stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

  • A competitive total remuneration salary package will be provided for this role
  • We have a temporary full-time role available for up to 4 years 
  • We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role 
  • This role is located at the Wyong Administration Building
