About the role
The Business Analysts play a crucial role in driving digital transformation projects, contributing to the overall vision of the organisation. Reporting to the Senior Business Analyst – Digital Transformation, you will be responsible for leading the analysis, documentation, and communication of business requirements across a range of technology initiatives.
Your primary focus will be to ensure that project outcomes align with organisational goals while facilitating stakeholder engagement throughout the change process. This role involves conducting workshops, stakeholder interviews, and translating business needs into actionable requirements that guide solution design and delivery.
This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking dedicated professionals with a blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills, capable of navigating complex projects and fostering collaboration.
- Degree qualifications in Information Technology, Business, or a related field OR equivalent experience as a Business Analyst.
- Demonstrated experience in business process improvement and system functionality analysis.
- Strong relationship-building skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to analyse information, formulate recommendations, and provide specialist advice.
In addition to the essential qualifications, prior experience in local government and familiarity with project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 or Agile is highly desirable. Experience with TechnologyOne and One Council is also a plus.
