About the role

As a Trainee Store Person, you will be at the heart of our procurement operations, assisting in the effective management of our inventory assets and warehouse facilities. This role is designed for those eager to learn and grow, providing you the opportunity to gain valuable skills while contributing to the community's needs.

Your responsibilities will include replenishing and controlling inventory, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will work closely with a supportive team as you develop your skills and knowledge in warehousing operations.

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A genuine interest in the stores environment and a desire to build your career in this field
  • Bring a proactive approach to teamwork and customer service, demonstrating a commitment to achieving goals
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members and customers.
  • Show strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Current Class C or Provisional P1 or P2 driver's licence or willingness to obtain at Legal age to acquire licence.

Other important information

  • The salary range for these positions sit between $494 to $847 per week ($25.8K to $44.1K per annum) dependent on age and school qualifications + 12% Superannuation 
  • This is a temporary full-time roles
  • The role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight
  • The role is located at Erina Works Depot
