About the role

Join our customer focused team in providing high quality services at Central Coast Visitor Centre. This is an opportunity to promote the diverse range of tourism attractions the Central Coast has to offer, playing a key role in enhancing the experience of our tourists and building relationships with tourism vendors. In this role, you will provide information, enhance visitor experiences and ensure everyone feels valued and informed. 

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

Key activities of this role include:

  • Actively enticing tourists to visit attractions, accommodation properties, activity based products and assisting with bookings
  • Ensuring the efficient display of tourism information, products and visual merchandise
  • Providing timely and accurate customer service advise for tourism operations and activities within the Central Coast region
  • Supporting volunteers to ensure consistency in service delivery.

Other important information

  • The salary for this position ranges from $44.92 - $53.99 (inclusive of Casual loading) + 12% superannuation. Penalty rates apply for weekend work.
  • We have a Casual position available working up to 35 hours on a rotating roster Monday - Sunday. 
  • This role is located at the Central Coast Visitor Centre. 

Council may create an eligibility list from this recruitment process and may utilise this eligibility list to fill other permanent or temporary vacancies.
