  • Temporary full-time role until July 2026
  • Commencing salary: $1,668 to $2,005 per week + superannuation

The Town Centre Coordinator is a key conduit between business & community stakeholders in the town centres, and Central Coast Council. This role provides an opportunity to impact town centre success through working closely with stakeholders on events, activations, infrastructure improvements and other projects which encourage visitation, and drive commercial outcomes. 

This role requires great relationship management skills, commercial nous and the ability to work closely with a range of community and business partners to deliver a wide range of local projects & initiatives. 

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

Key activities of this role include: 

  • Ensure town centre assets are managed and maintained in accordance with approved budgets and asset management strategies, plans and schedules including the accurate and timely management of requests for service as required
  • Plan, develop and implement programs and projects associated with town centre assets to ensure strategic economic and community outcomes are delivered
  • Plan, develop and implement placemaking projects to attract increased patronage within town centres and support the development, growth and sustainability of local businesses across the LGA

Essential Criteria:

  • Degree qualification in Business, Project Management, Community Development or a relevant field and/or extensive relative and contemporary experience combined with ongoing professional development
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence
  • Current Working with Children Check
