About the role

As the Team Leader Risk and Reporting, you will oversee a newly created team in the overarching operational management of both the security of Water and Sewer assets and operations, as well as the centralised reporting and storytelling of key Water and Sewer metrics and insights. 

This role will see you lead the team to partner with the broader Water and Sewer directorate to mature the risk management and business continuity approach, creating sustainable improved performance and ensuring overall continued service delivery. 

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Risk Management or another field OR demonstrated solid contemporary experience in a similar role, combined with ongoing professional development. 
  • A current Class C Drivers Licence.
  • Experience in the security of a water utility or similar service. 
  • An understanding of of risk management concepts, protocols, industry best practices and strategies.
  • An understanding of the application of SOCI legislation in relation to critical infrastructure.

Other important information

  • The commencing salary for this position is up to $107.7k per annum. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $124.7k on completion of assessment of skills and performance 11.5% superannuation 
  • We have a permanent full-time role available.
  • This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight.
  • We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role - 2 days from home and 3 days onsite.
  • This role is located at the Nexus Business Hub, North Wyong.
