About the role
This role will see contribute to the provision of water and sewerage services to the local community through the development and implementation of effective asset management and strategic planning strategies.
Central Coast Council owns, operates and manages three dams, 11 treatment plants, over 50 reservoirs, 350 pumping stations and nearly 5,000km of pipelines for you to plan and manage as well as undertaking planning and investigations to support an expanding annual capital program of over $100M per year.
Reporting to the Lead Engineer Asset Management, this role will see you be responsible for preparing and implementing asset management strategies, plans, processes, practices and systems to deliver high quality services and drive value from Council's water and sewer asset portfolio. These outcomes will drive effective management of asset risks, deliver required levels of service and ensure effective management of whole of life costs for all of Council's water and sewerage assets.

Other important information
A leaseback vehicle is provided in this role for official duties and private use and your choice of vehicle will be provided within the range of vehicles available. A vehicle allowance of $207.31 per week may be paid if a vehicle is not available immediately for your use and will be paid until the vehicle is available.
Council may create an eligibility list from this recruitment process and may utilise this eligibility list to fill other permanent or temporary vacancies.
