About the role
This role will see you preparing asset management strategies, maintenance, renewal and rehabilitation programs to manage asset risks, and ensure management of whole of life costs for all Central Coast Council water supply and sewerage infrastructure assets.
Central Coast Council owns, operates and manages three dams, 11 treatment plants, over 50 reservoirs, 350 pumping stations and nearly 5,000km of pipelines for you to plan and manage as well as undertaking planning and investigations to support an expanding annual capital program of over $100M per year.
Reporting to the Lead Engineer Asset Management, the role of Senior Asset Engineer is responsible for identifying projects and development activities in response to operational events, scoping projects, working right through the inception, selection and preparation of business cases stages and finally to handover for construction and delivery stage, while always being on hand to provide technical guidance, mentoring and support on the management of current and future assets.
This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
