About the role
The role of Crew Leader State Roads is responsible for the delivery of general maintenance, predominantly in the area of roads and drainage, utilising both in-house maintenance staff and contractors. This role will see you responsible for undertaking a range of duties and responsibilities including the planning of maintenance works to deliver quality projects efficiently and cost effectively through maximising the utilisation of materials, plant and staff.
In addition, in this role you will be responsible for supervising a team of staff and occasionally contractors and external service providers for the maintenance of roads, drainage and associated works while ensuring you carry our your duties and responsibilities in a manner that complies with all legislation and Council policies relating to WHS, Environmental Management and relevant construction standards and codes.
This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
