About the role

This role will see you contributing to the provision of Water and Sewerage services to the community through preparing strategic planning strategies to effectively manage asset risks, deliver required levels of service and ensure effective management of whole of life costs for all water supply and sewerage assets. 

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Degree qualification in Engineering or related field OR demonstrated solid contemporary experience in a similar role, combined with ongoing professional development.
• Current Class C Driver’s licence.
• Construction Induction Card.
• Considerable experience in asset management and planning within a water business related area is essential; with water industry experience within project delivery highly desirable.
• Wide-ranging understanding of the operation of water and sewerage assets including treatment and distribution.
• Experience in the application of hydraulic modelling and asset management tools including GIS to aide project investigations.

Other important information

• The salary range for this position sits between $99.7k - $119.6k plus market loading (dependant on the skills and experience for the right person), plus 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance (in accordance with the Award), plus 11.5% superannuation, plus vehicle allowance of $207.31 per week. 
• This is a permanent full-time role.
• This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight.
• We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role. 
• This role is located at the Nexus Building.
• Successful candidates may be required to have vaccinations against Hepatitis A and B and Tetanus.
