About the role

The role of the Services Administration and Payments Coordinator is responsible for the management of all waste service entitlements, coordination and assessment of Waste Services Customer data, and the oversight, review, compliance, and processing of contractual payments. This role will see you checking, validating, and initially approving all waste contractual payments to ensure any claims are valid and align with contractual requirements and services to be delivered. Additionally, the Services Administration and Payments Coordinator will be responsible for the monitoring, maintaining and assurance of accurate data and records of customer and service delivery requirements are accurate and updated in line with services objectives and contractual conditions to endure income and contractor payment claims are aligned with services rendered. 

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Certificate IV in Business or Office Administration or related field OR demonstrated solid contemporary experience in financial administration and/ or complex invoice/ payment claims processing, combined with ongoing professional development. 
  • Significant experience in large scale and high value contract administration and payment claims, including high proficiency in the use of processes, systems and software packages particularly Microsoft Office, financial/ spreadsheet programs and budget management programs. 
  • Extensive administrative experience in general office, accounting, and financial aspects.

Other important information

  • The salary range for this position sits between $41.7k - $50k per annum plus 11% superannuation
  • This is a Permanent part-time role - 21 hours per week.
  • We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role.
  • This role is located at the Buttonderry Waste Management Facility

Council will be creating an eligibility list from this recruitment process and may utilise this eligibility list to fill other permanent or temporary vacancies.
