Trade Waste Officer is responsible for managing the potential impacts of non-compliance with legislation, including the Environmental Protection Act and licence conditions. This may include injuries to employees, disruptions to sewerage treatment processes, environmental damage resulting from treatment process disruption, or physical damage to the sewerage system.
This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
Key activities of this role include:
A 9 day fortnight work-cycle currently applies to this role.
Successful candidates will be required to undertake a course of vaccinations against Hepatitis A and B and Tetanus or demonstrate their immunity.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to undertake and pass a Confined Spaces medical.
