The Leasing and Projects Officer is responsible for managing projects and end-to-end leasing functions for all identified Town Centres in Central Coast Council’s (CCC) local community. You will actively research and investigate leasing and development opportunities that will benefit the broader community including the identification of developed and undeveloped land and facilities for commercial or community use, with alignment to income generation and social responsibility to provide affordable leases and licences. 

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

About the Role

  • Direct responsibility for management and delivery of a wide range of projects including delivery of project feasibility, estimates, investigation and design services;
  • Manage end to end contract and project administration services including tender evaluation, management of contractors and/or consultants, project handover and defects liability management;
  • Plan, develop and implement programs and projects associated with relevant assets to ensure strategic economic and community outcomes are delivered.

About You

  • You may have a Certificate IV in Construction, Project or Property Management or a relevant field;
  • You'll be an expert communicator, with highly effective negotiation skills;
  • You'll bring to the team extensive experience coordinating successful implementation of projects and contracts for the delivery of asset upgrades and capital works;
  • You'll be a team player, capable of juggling multiple projects, knowing which ones to prioritise and always meeting deadlines;
  • You have an analytical mind, assessing and interpreting information to deliver specialist advice and recommendations.

This role provides a commencing salary range of between $79.3k to $95.2k per annum dependent on skills and experience + 10.5% superannuation. 

A vehicle allowance of $165 per week ($8,580 per annum) is available.  

A 9 day fortnight work-cycle currently applies to this role with flexible/hybrid working arrangements available.
